Centered on the core theme of "Future Energy", this summer school adopted diverse forms including special lectures, thematic seminars and enterprise field visits to deliver an immersive research and learning experience for participants at home and abroad.
The summer school has elaborately built a curriculum system focusing on cutting-edge energy sectors. Its faculty team consists of seven professors and scholars from the College of Smart Energy and international universities in the United Kingdom, Morocco and other countries. Drawing on their years of research experience, they delivered systematic lectures covering climate change, solid-state batteries, thermal energy storage, new power systems, fuel cells and other key topics. The program also arranged a special campus tour of the College of Smart Energy, enabling students to deepen their understanding of classroom knowledge and experience the charm of energy technology innovation firsthand.

To help participants intuitively perceive the achievements of China's new energy industry development, the College organized field visits to leading enterprises and science and innovation platforms including GCL Energy, NIO Inc., the Grand NeoBay Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster and Tangfeng Energy. Visiting frontline industrial sites, students closely observed the entire process of research and development as well as commercial implementation of new energy equipment. They gained an in-depth understanding of the innovation ecosystem of China's clean energy industry and realized the organic integration of theoretical knowledge and industrial practice.

The summer school also arranged a rich variety of cultural experience activities, including paper-cutting workshops, Shanghai city walks and Suzhou cultural tours. These activities allowed participants to immerse themselves in the profound heritage of traditional Chinese culture.

On July 24, the summer school held its achievement presentation session. Five multinational groups delivered brilliant reports respectively on green fuels, power systems, hydrogen energy development, solid-state batteries and thermal energy storage.
The jury scored each group comprehensively and selected outstanding teams winning the first, second and third prizes on site.
