A delegation from College of Smart Energy conducted a research visit to SPIC Northeast Electric Power Co., Ltd

On April 24, Zhu Xiaohong, Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Smart Energy, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, led a delegation to conduct research and exchanges at SPIC Northeast Electric Power Co., Ltd.

Feng Huabin, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Directly-affiliated Party Committee of Northeast Company and President of the Northeast Branch of the Party School of the Group Corporation, Fei Hongbo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of College of Smart Energy, and relevant personnel attended the research and discussion forum.

At the meeting, Zhu Xiaohong congratulated Northeast Company on its development achievements and expressed gratitude for the thoughtful arrangements and strong support provided by the company. She stated that the college of Smart Energy, SJTU is an industry-education integration platform and an innovative educational pilot jointly built by SPIC and SJTU. Having secured fruitful progress over years of development, the college should give full play to its role as an industry-education integration platform to advance effective integration of scientific research and industry and bridge the "last mile". Meanwhile, she hoped that industry mentors from Northeast Company would leverage their professional strengths to guide project research and further deepen industry-education integration in an all-round manner.

Subsequently, Fei Hongbo delivered a detailed introduction of College of Smart Energy, covering its development history, functional positioning, talent training, scientific research cooperation, and high-end non-degree education. Teaching Faculty Zeng Meirong and Liu Zuming from the college respectively presented their research progress and achievements in key fields including the efficient utilization and conversion of clean energy, as well as the simulation, integration and operation optimization technologies of power-hydrogen coupling systems.
