On March 16, Gao Jifan, Chairman of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., led a delegation of 10 people to conduct research and exchange at the College of Smart Energy, SJTU. The exchange meeting was presided over by Academician Huang Zhen, Founding Dean of the College, and Professor Tai Nengling, Vice Dean, together with teacher representatives from relevant fields of the College, attended the meeting.

Academician Huang Zhen extended a warm welcome to Gao Jifan and his delegation. Vice Dean Tai Nengling gave a detailed introduction to the college's general situation and future areas of cooperation.

Chairman Gao Jifan outlined Trina Solar's overall business layout and development strategy, explained the purpose of the visit, and expressed the willingness to cooperate with the college in fields including clean energy technology research and development.

Chairman Gao Jifan, accompanied by personnel from the college, visited the Energy Square and the Smart Energy Campus facilities.

Through this in-depth exchange and research, both sides have reached important consensus on the direction and model of industry-university-research cooperation, and will promote the implementation of relevant cooperation arrangements as soon as possible.
