On March 12, the first 2026 "Wisdom · Appointment" Teacher Salon of the college—an academic seminar themed Designing Catalysts for Hydrogen Energy Applications was successfully held in the form of a lunch seminar at the Lecture Hall of the West Multi-Functional Building.

The salon specially invited Professor Gadi Rothenberg, Chair Professor at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as the keynote speaker. Professor Gadi Rothenberg has profound academic expertise and extensive industrial transformation experience in hydrogen energy catalysis, industrial catalytic conversion and other fields.

More than 50 people attended the event, including Han Dong, Vice Dean of the college, teachers and students in relevant research directions, and staff from related admin departments. The salon was hosted by Associate Professor Deng Tao of the college.

The college's "Wisdom · Appointment" Teacher Salon will continue to focus on frontiers in disciplines and industrial needs, inviting top scholars from home and abroad for academic exchanges, so as to promote the scientific research innovation and development of the college's faculty in the energy sector.
