On the afternoon of March 3, the themed event of International Women's Day and the Lantern Festival, entitled "Ingenuity Lights Up the Lantern Festival, Women Shine in Pursuit of Dreams", was warmly launched by College of Smart Energy.

More than 80 female faculty and staff members of the college gathered to celebrate the dual festivals through traditional folk activities, including lantern making, solving lantern riddles, and making glutinous rice balls (tangyuan).

The tangyuan-making session was undoubtedly a highlight of the event. A team of pastry chefs from the college canteen was on hand to guide everyone and share expert tips for making perfect tangyuan.Six varieties of fillings, including black sesame and red bean paste, were neatly arranged on the tables. Gathering around, the ladies kneaded the glutinous rice dough, wrapped the fillings, and rolled them into smooth balls. Though some movements were a bit unaccustomed, every step was filled with heartfelt care.

As they worked, they chatted freely, sharing interesting life stories and valuable work experiences. Warm, happy smiles lit up every face, creating a truly joyful and harmonious atmosphere.

The event came to a close in a warm and harmonious atmosphere. Holding the lanterns they had made themselves, everyone moved to the front stage for a group photo, capturing this beautiful moment belonging to the women of the College of Smart Energy.
