China International College Students Innovation Competition Gold Award!

From October 12 to 15, 2025, at the National Finals of the China International College Students Innovation Competition (2025) held at Zhengzhou University, the project "MegaPower Router," recommended by the College of Smart Energy and guided by Associate Professor Ma Jianjun as the primary advisor from our college, won the International Project Gold Award for its excellent performance. This is also the first time that our college's faculty has served as the primary advisor, independently nurturing and leading the team to achieve remarkable results in this top-tier competition.
The award-winning "MegaPower Router" project has pioneered a high-efficiency "source-network-load-storage" energy access "prefabricated cabin" solution. It addresses the access requirements of various types of heterogeneous renewable energy by proposing a modular, scalable, and customizable access topology. Based on AI algorithms, it significantly improves the accuracy of loss prediction and achieves dynamic optimization of equipment energy efficiency. At the same time, it incorporates data-driven algorithms to realize fault diagnosis integrating electrical, thermal, and magnetic multi-physical fields, as well as full lifecycle operation and maintenance services for equipment.
The technical achievements related to the project have been applied in multiple scenarios, including the "Smart Campus" at the College of Smart Energy,and zero-carbon port shores, further promoting the research and implementation of key technologies in "AI + Energy."
Since the competition's launch, the college has placed great importance on overall planning, not only mobilizing faculty, holding promotional meetings, and inviting the university's innovation center for guidance to strengthen competition support but also providing full support in expert guidance, resource assurance, and on-site services to help the team achieve excellent results. This gold award not only enhances the college's reputation and stimulates the innovation enthusiasm of teachers and students but also accumulates experience for participating in international competitions and deepening international innovation and entrepreneurship exchanges from a global perspective. In the future, the college will continue to encourage teachers and students to participate in large international events, promoting Sino-foreign scientific and technological exchanges, boosting "AI + Energy" empowerment, and contributing to the construction of a strong education nation and enhancing the international influence of Chinese higher education through continuous innovative practices.
